First day in Tokyo

After my AWESOME roommate drove me all the way to Miami to make a totally different flight, I finally met up with my brother in LA.  I seriously would not know what to do without my Cousin speaking Japanese.  We had trouble finding our hostel but a cute little old lady walked us there.  You cant walk in with shoes.... so traditional! I love it!   Heres a picture of the outside



We then headed to lunch where we all had eel.  Everyone was totally starring at us because were the only white people. We haven't seen many tourist around which makes us stand out more.  


After lunch we walked around for a few hours..... had some fun :) (childish Americans!!), shopped and went to a temple.  Just taking a break before heading out for lots more!!

    Thank you for the update and doing the blog. I love it. It is surprising how many people don't speak English there, to me. I know Japanese is their language but I had this impression that many Japanese speak English and I didn't find that to be true. I loved having my interpreter with me too:) We'll be following you on the blog. Have a wonderful trip.
