Sydney

I made it to Sydney!!!

I met up with my friend Joe from my Scotland trip and walked around the city. The Opera house is actually all tiles. i never knew that! it was a perfect day and night!

The next day I met up with my friend Kris from my Asia trip and we spent the day walking the entire city and drinking of course :) we went up the sydney tower. by the end of the day i was so tired!

The next day I took a day trip out to the Blue Mountains. we stopped at a little zoo where i got to pet a Koala (I cant wait to hold one) and I got to see an albino Wallaby. There were tons of pretty cool animals!

The Blue mountains were very bluish hahaha. I got to see the three sisters. I also rode on the steepest train in the world and walked around down where the miners use to live and work.

The next day i took a ferry to and from Manly beach with Kris and another friend. It was a gorgous day yet again :)

That night we met up with another friend from the Aisa tour and had a few drinks.

My last day in Sydney was spent strolling in the botanical gardens. and of course had to touch the pacfic ocean on this side of the world :)

I have some great underwater diving pictures to post next. off to sailing in whitsundays!!! :)

Vietnam and Australia!!!!

Sorry its been a while. I have been on the go and internet in Australia is expensive!

After Ho Chi Minh City we headed to Na Trang where we had a boat cruise. not a bad bad at all :)

From there we headed to Hoi An which I LOVE this place!!! This is where you can get talior made anything. i got a 3 piece suit and a dress and i lost my flip flops in Na Trang so i have tailor made sandals now too. We got to see the Japanese cover bridge. i did some major shopping :) i bought a vietnam hat from this cute little lady! shes so tiny!

The next day we went snorkling in the Cham islands where i got the worst sealice EVER!!! and then relaxed on the beach. Lifes great :)

We ended the night with a yummy cooking class and then some drinks. This is a jager train. We should definitely try it at home :)

The next day we headed to Hue and did some sight seeing. We went to the Imperial Citadel and took a dragon boat back to the hotel!

We went to a deaf and mute family run restaurant. You could write on the walls and they opened the beers with this wooden bottle opener and gave each of us one. You can open 6 bottles at once! Definitely have to try this at home as well :)

Next stop Hanoi. Just to give you an idea of the power lines:

We did a little walking tour. Saw and touched the lucky tree which they believe is centurys old. Went to the DVD store where you can buy anything for $5.... it was hard not to buy everything lol. The girls had dinner at a Gorden Ramsay place that had amazing duck and we ended the night shopping for pirate gear for out party the next night!

Halong Bay bound. We stayed the night on a boat here. Now i have new obsession with Casio watches and of course the Vietnamese currency DONG!!! The casio watches have an awesome disco light to it.

Anyways.... We stop at a huge cave which was awesome. i had to do some planking of course!

We stoped at an island and climbed a ridiculous amount of steps, but the view was so amazing! Plus we just jumped in the water once we got back down :)

We watched the sunset on the roof of the boat. I got caught saying MINE and had to do 10 push ups.

Pirate party time!!!! So freaking fun :)

In the morning we went kayaking which was breath taking yet again and then headed back to Hanoi for the last night on the tour.

When we got back to the city i did something a little crazy....... i got a tattoo!!!!

I made it to Australia!!!
I stayed with a friend that I met in Scotland. While she worked I took a day trip to Phillip Island. On the way there we stopped to hang out with some Kangaroos. This is where i totally got kicked in the butt by a Kangaroo.

We stopped at a koala conservation but the koalas where too high up in the trees to get a good picture. Then we headed to see the little peguins race out of the water to find there burrows on land. We werent allowed to take pictures of them because the lights will confuse them, but i did get to see them in Sydney. so cute!!

The next day I did Ocean Road!!! I got to see the twelve apostles and the london bridge.

Sydney is the next stop. Miss you all!!!
